Transitional Housing

South County Outreach has operated its Transitional Housing Program since 1994. This program is dedicated to assisting families with dependent children who have found themselves without safe housing options and need some help and guidance to get back on their feet. We operate the Transitional Housing Program through 16 condominiums owned by South County Outreach at locations throughout the cities of Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel. At any given time, there are approximately 37 adults and 66 children residing in our units. The average length of stay is 6-9 months depending upon the family’s need and their progress. The goal of the program is that each family becomes self-sufficient and secures permanent housing.
