Cooking Class
Our professional chef leads cooking classes three days a week. Students expand their knowledge of the culinary arts and prepare all food for the evening dinner program. The cooking program is centered around two major themes: cooking nutritious meals and cooking dishes from various cultures. Starting in fall 2014, parents and children will experience a culinary and nutritional experience on Sunday afternoons. This year students are also able to utilize the fresh lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, and herbs that we have grown in our vertical garden- providing not only healthy ingredients but (very) local produce as well.
